Welcome to Wroot Parish Council

We aim to provide news from the Parish Council and helpful information for anyone who wants to know more about our local community. Please navigate the site by clicking on the links at the top and bottom of the pages. We intend to develop the site continually and welcome your comments and suggestions for improving it.

Council Meetings

The Council conducts its business at various meetings, which it holds throughout each year. All meetings are held in Wroot Village Hall, commence at 7.00 pm, and are held on the first Tuesday of each month. All meetings are open to the public, except those meetings or parts of the same where the public is excluded by resolution.

Chair and Vice Chair of the Council

The Council is required by law to appoint from its Members a Chair and Vice-Chair. During the municipal year 2022/2023, the Chair of the Council is Councillor Philip Bayes and the Vice-Chair is Councillor Angela White.

Agendas & Minutes

Agendas will be posted 5 working days prior to each meeting. These are available in the Agendas & Minutes section. Please note that minutes will be available only when they have been ratified at the following month's meeting. For example, January minutes will be uploaded on the first Wednesday of February, after the meeting the evening before. Thank you
